Being a Good Friend

BEING A GOOD FRIEND is an anxiety prevention and resiliency building program for kindergarten to Year 2 students. It is experiential and play based in combination with fun workbook activities. Students learn important social and emotional skills in a safe, caring and respectful environment. Topics covered include:

  1. Calm eyes. 
  2. Brave voice. 
  3. Recognising feelings in ourselves and others.
  4. Helping others. 
  5. Body awareness, breath strength and being calm. 
  6. Being a good friend.
  7. Being brave. 
  8. The difference between 'Red' (unhelpful) and 'Green' (helpful) thoughts.
